I’m a lifelong Maryland native, raised amidst the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, where I learned to appreciate the resilience of native flora. Summers spent vacationing along the Chesapeake Bay and exploring the historic grounds of St. Mary's City deepened my connection to Maryland's rich history and timeless traditions—from colonial roots to coastal heritage. As cultivation manager for one of the state’s premier cannabis companies, with two Maryland Home Grow Cannabis Cup wins, over a decade in construction and healthcare, and professional growing since 2018, I know what makes plants thrive. Moving to a new home overrun with invasive species sparked Starbloom—a passion to educate, inspire, and connect Marylanders with native landscapes that honor our state's legacy.
